Vladimir Menin, 44, was driving with a suspended license and had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit when his BMW hit 49-year-old Aissatou Diallo, 49, of Staten Island, knocking her off a Brooklyn-Queens Expressway bridge to her death in August 2016.
Diallo had been standing outside her Chevy after a tire on an SUV driven by a relative went flat while she and family members were returning from a wedding in Queen.
Witnesses reported seeing the BMW swerved around one car, hit another, then strike Diallo in front of horrified family members before Menin tried to flee on foot.
Her 16-year-old son chased Menin down and held him for police.
Menin apologized to family members, many of whom spoke, as well, before a judge in Brooklyn sentenced him to up to 15 years in prison Wednesday.
