Endless Dungeon is a fun game, and couch co-op would undoubtedly make it more enjoyable.

As I’ve mentioned before, playing this game with friends is an awesome experience. And, although it’s rarer these days, plenty of people love the good old couch co-op. That said, is it even possible to enjoy a local co-op game of Endless Dungeon with a friend?
Sadly, Endless Dungeon does not have a local multiplayer mode. Although the developers have considered adding it, and it was expected by the community, the game was released with online co-op and solo game modes only.
According to the developers, local co-op was considered. Still, they were not able to implement it without compromising other parts of the game. The only way to play Endless Dungeon with friends is by using two separate computers, each logged into a different player profile and connecting through the game’s matchmaking system.

While the game remains enjoyable as it is, and most people prefer playing with their friends online, it’s disappointing that a game released on multiple consoles lacks this option commonly found in most twin-stick shooters.
Note that players must be on the same platform to play online. Endless Dungeon does not support crossplay. As for those who do manage to play with their friends, there are significant benefits. Not only does the game seem clearly designed to be played with other people, but you also share your progress with those you are playing with.
