Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Hollidaysburg say an Alum Bank man is facing charges after he allegedly injured a young child.
According to the affidavit, police say 34-year-old Joshua Troutman is accused of throwing a phone at the head of a 5-year-old boy.
Troopers say the child reportedly suffered a "large contusion" to his forehead.
During his preliminary arraignment on March 15th, authorities say Troutman allegedly claimed that he threw a lotion bottle at the child, not a phone.
Investigators say he also stated that he and the child were throwing objects "back and forth."
According to online court records, Troutman faces charges of simple assault and harassment, and has since posted bail.
