Paige Spiranac and Nick Adams were involved in a Twitter spar after the latter complained that women are slowing down the pace of play on the golf course.
Adams, who describes himself as an alpha male in his Twitter bio, expressed his frustration that he was not allowed to enjoy his Sunday golf.
"Can't there be a par three course set aside for the slow female golfers so they don't clog up the championship courses on the weekends?" Adams wondered on Twitter.
"There's no reason women should be allowed to slow down the pace of play on a beautiful Saturday like today!"
Professional-golfer-turned-model Spiranac didn't hesitate to hit out at Adams with an ironic response.
"It would be so satisfying out driving you all day long," she wrote.
Her comment did not sit well with Adams, who hit back at the influencer by mocking her golfing ability.
"Listen Paige, you're not famous because of your golf swing or how far you can drive the ball," Adams replied.
Spiranac acknowledged her figure but teased Adams for his Twitter bio with another ironic comment.
"Listen Nick, we all know I have fantastic milkers, I shall now change my name to Paige Spiranac (alpha jugs)," she wrote.
Following this exchange of tweets, Spiranac quote-tweeted Adams' post to further tease the social media heavyweight.
"Nick is the type of golfer who tees off from the tips but can't hit it more than 220," she noted.
"He'll wait for par fives in two when he's 310 out. Say 'hit it sally' when someone in group leaves a putt short. And thinks he has a shot with the cart girl."
